Adventure
Hollowreach
★★★★★ 4.6
Hollowreach drops you into an abandoned underground city with a lantern and almost no explanation. You explore, map rooms as you go, and slowly piece together what happened here. The atmosphere does a lot of the heavy lifting, and it earns it.
Movement is swipe-based, and the map fills in as you discover new paths. There's light puzzle-solving tied to the environment, usually figuring out how to open a route forward rather than abstract brain-teasers. Nothing ever felt unfair.
It's a quieter game than most on this list, better suited to headphones and an evening than a crowded commute. If you enjoy slow-burn exploration where discovery is the whole point, give it a look.
