Iron Tide Command

★★★★☆ 4.4 Editor rating

Iron Tide Command asks you to run a fleet across a grid of contested waters, balancing fuel, repairs, and where to strike next. It's a thinking game first. Battles play out in quick turn-based skirmishes, but the real decisions happen on the map screen between them.

The interface is clean for a strategy game on a small screen, which I did not take for granted. Dragging ships into formation feels natural, and the tooltips explain the systems without drowning you. I lost my first campaign badly, learned why, and the second run clicked.

If you like strategy where positioning matters more than raw numbers, this will scratch that itch. The optional timed mode adds real pressure for people who want it, and you can turn it off entirely if you'd rather take your time.
